Jersey

With flights departing four times a week to Jersey from Norwich Airport throughout May to September, Jersey is a great destination to enjoy.  As the largest of the Channel Islands it is perfect for either a standalone holiday, or as a starting point for an island-hopping adventure. With a short flight and mild average temperatures, it is a great choice for families.

With over 50 miles of coastline you can pick from a multitude of golden sand beaches and stunning vistas. With plenty to choose between from more touristy beaches with more facilities to more secluded spots, away from the hustle and bustle, you will find something to suit your tastes.

For those who enjoy sightseeing there is plenty to pick from.  La Houge Bie is a fantastically preserved Neolithic tomb. Which has had two medieval churches perched on top of it prior to its discovery.

Jersey’s capital of St. Helier is named after a hermit who lived nearby until he was murdered by pirates.  His home, Hermitage rock, can be explored by visitors at low-tide.

The highlights of St. Helier are Royal Square which was built on the site of The Battle of Jersey and features a statue of King George II and Liberation Square, where you can see a statue dedicated to 50 years of peace since the Nazis were removed from occupation which was built in 1995.
